As a Marine combat veteran who served in both Afghanistan and Iraq and later retired from the New York Air National Guard (2000–2020), I have faced my share of challenges with PTSD. I first met Dr. Anderson in 2015 when I was struggling to get the help and documentation I needed for my VA claim. Her professionalism, compassion, and expertise were instrumental in helping me receive my 100% PTSD rating from the VA. Later, when I was going through the medical retirement process with the Air National Guard, I turned to Dr. Anderson again.
