Founded by Dr. Wende J. Anderson, Psychological Associates of Melbourne has a rich history rooted in a passion for providing high-quality psychological services. After recognizing the growing need for psychological and neuropsychological testing in the region, Dr. Anderson began mentoring graduate and postgraduate students from Florida Tech and collaborated with gifted individuals from a variety of programs, further enriching the practice’s reach and impact.
In 2012, to better reflect the collaborative nature of the work and the contributions of the talented professionals Dr. Anderson works with, the practice name was changed to Psychological Associates of Melbourne. Today, the practice continues to expand its range of services, combining Dr. Anderson’s wealth of experience and expertise with a commitment to excellence in client care.
Dr. Wende J. Anderson is board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and is credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology. She has completed additional certifications in Trauma and Recovery from the prestigious Harvard Global Mental Health Program and the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute. Fully licensed in Florida, Virginia, and New York, she also holds the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and Temporary Authorization to Practice (TAP) credentials awarded by the PSYPACT commission.
